Biography

My Family and I are extremely happy to be here in this beautiful coastal community of Swansboro.  We moved here from Fairfax County, Virginia, which is right outside of Washington D.C.  My wife, Mariann, and I wanted to raise our daughter and son in a kinder gentler community.  It took us only one visit to know that this is where we wanted to raise our children.

My teaching career began in Pennsylvania in 1986 where I taught 12-1/2 years for the Department of Juvenile Corrections.  Following that I moved to Alexandria, Virginia where I taught fifth grade for nine years for the Fairfax County Public Schools.

Being a Pennsylvania boy at heart, I am a huge Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State fan!

I look forward to working with all the students and staff here at Queens Creek Elementary.
