Mrs. Peggy Voyles

Experience:  I taught 1st and 2nd grades in Asheville, NC then we moved to Brunswick County, where I taught Title I reading intervention and Reading Recovery for 4 years.  My family moved to Onslow County in 1999, where I have continued my work as a Title I Reading Specialist.  I am delighted to be working with students at Carolina Forest Elementary this year! 


Bio:  I was born in Conneticut long, long ago.  My family moved to western North Carolina before I was in kindergarten. I attended Immaculata Catholic School K-8, Hendersonville High School, graduated from Appalachain State University and obtained my teaching certification K-5 from UNC-Asheville.  I taught in Asheville, where I met my husband, Steve.  We got married and moved to eastern NC.  I am blessed with my wonderful husband and two amazing daughters.  This is my 27th year as a teacher!
