  • It is hard to get away from the rapidly changing news about COVID-19 and the changes it continues to cause in our society. With schools currently closed for students, concern over this new virus has increased the number of questions children and families have. OCS school counselors and school social workers understand this and, during this challenging time, will be available for virtual counseling sessions to help our children cope with these questions. You can find more information and links to each school’s counseling services here:

  •  Say something message box At OECHS, we are committed to having a safe, secure and positive learning environment for our staff and students. To support this effort, we are happy to announce the launch of the "Say Something Anonnymous Reporting System". This program teaches students, teachers, and administrators how to recognize warning signs and signals, especially within social media, of individuals who may be a threat to themselves or others and to say something to a trusted adult or use its anonymous reporting system.

The OECHS "Say Something" response team, administrators and staff have been trained in the program and will be helping our students learn how to use the system at school during seminar.

More information about the "Say Something Anonymous Reporting System" can be found on the OCS District's homepage under "District Annoucement". If you have any questions, please feel free to call the school at 910-938-6702.

Thank you for your support as we work together to promote the safety and security of our students and staff!

  • Census 2020 on blue

The US Census is mandated by the Constitution and conducted by the US Census Bureau. It will count every person in the US and the five US Territories. The information from the census will provide critical data for deciding how funding is distributed among communities across the US. For more information about what the census means to each of us:
