Miss Kristen Hastings

I am so excited about being your child's teacher this year. I was born in Japan, but I've traveled a lot due to my father being in the Navy. My family moved to North Carolina in 2014, but I moved to Jacksonville in August of 2018.

I went to University of Maryland College Park for undergraduate school, majoring in Japanese and Linguistics. After graduating, I worked in various fields before going back to school at ECU to get my Master of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education. This will be my fifth year teaching third grade in Onslow County and I cannot wait to share my love of learning with my students. I feel truly blessed to be able to spend this year teaching your student.

When I'm not at school, I love to read, play music and video games, or visit my family. I love traveling, learning new things, and meeting new people.
