Hello! My name is Callie Collins and I am a first grade teacher here at Parkwood. I was born and raised in a small town in Ohio. In 2015, I married my high school sweetheart and moved to Jacksonville due to him being in the Marine Corps. We have two boys named Carter and Beckham. We also have a German Shepherd named Zeke. In my free time I enjoy reading, everything outdoors, strolling through Target, traveling, and spending time with family. 

This is my fourth year as a first grade teacher. I began my teaching career in January 2019 at Parkwood. I graduated in December 2018 from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. Prior to graduating, I was a substitute teacher in Onslow County, where my passion for teaching grew. I really enjoy teaching first grade and seeing the growth of each child throughout the school year. I look forward to working with you and your child this school year!
