School strategic plans identify the schools’ priority needs and areas of focus for the upcoming year(s). In addition to serving as the state required two-year plans, these plans also serve as school-wide plans for Title I schools and the yearly improvement plans for schools identified for Targeted Support or as Low-Performing under state and/or federal accountability models.

Due to a lack of assessment data during the 2019-20 academic year, schools identified as Low-Performing by the NCDPI did not have an opportunity to exit Low-Performing status. Therefore, the NCDPI’s list of Low-Performing schools remains the same for the 2020-21 school year.

Preliminary plans for schools identified as Low-Performing based data from the 2018-19 school year are available for review and may be found below by searching the school name. All other Onslow County Schools’ strategic plans will be presented to the Board of Education for approval in December and will be posted once approved.
