Welcome to 7th grade English Language Arts! This year is going to be great! 

I am from Dayton, Ohio. I moved to Jacksonville, North Carolina in 2013. After college, I wanted to live by the beach, so I landed here! I received my bachelor's degree at Wright State University and my graduate degree at the University of North Carolina- Wilmington. I love playing basketball and softball. I enjoy going to the beach, reading a good book, taking walks, and spending time with my husband & four dogs. I am a huge Cincinnati Bengals fan. #WhoDey! 

Ever since I was 7 years old, I knew I wanted to teach. I taught at Hunters Creek Middle School for five years & Jacksonville Commons Middle School for two years. This will be my second year at Swansboro Middle School! Go Pirates!
