Mrs. Lindzey O'Brien

Hello Swansboro Pirates!  Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year!

I am thrilled to be a 1st grade teacher at Swansboro Elementary School!  This will be my 3rd year at Swansboro Elementary.  Here is a little about me:  I am originally from Goldsboro, NC, but lived & taught in Georgia for 14 years.  I graduated from Belmont Abbey College (Belmont, NC) with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education (Grades K-6).  I received my Master's Degree in Technology Education (Grades K-12) from Walden University.  This will be my 17th year teaching.  I taught 1st grade for 6 years, taught 2nd grade for 8 years, and then taught 3rd grade & 2nd grade here at SBES!  So excited to be back in 1st grade this upcoming school year!

My husband, BJ, and I have two boys.  Fuller is 8 and will be in 3rd grade.  Fisher is 5 and will be in Kindergarten.  I am looking forward to building positive relationships within this community, instilling a love of learning in all of our children, and having a wonderful school year with both you and your child!
