Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Pamela Ringham

I have lived in North Carolina for most of my life.  I graduated from Davie County High School in 1988.  While in college, I did some substitute teaching and spent one summer working at a preschool for students with special needs.  I moved to Onslow County in 1998 to be with my grandmother.

I have been married for 12 years and have two grown step-sons and one grandson.  My parents and sister (and her husband and my neice and nephew) live in NC and my brother lives in Alabama.

  • Education
I graduated from Appalachian State University in 1993 with a degree in Special Education-Specific Learning Disabilities.  I started a Master's program at UNC-G and completed my degree in Curriculum Instruction Supervision at UNC-W in 2001.  In addition, I have teaching certification in Special Education for general and adaptive classes, Elementary Education and Middle Grades Math.

    Experience
I started teaching in 1993 in Alamance County and moved to Onslow County in 1998.  I have taught all grade levels from pre-school through high school seniors.  I have worked in Inclusion, resource setting and in separate setting.  In Onslow county, I have worked at Swansboro Middle, Northside High, and Clyde Erwin.  I am excited to work with Mrs. Cassiano to continue working with students following the extended content standards at Onslow Virtual School this year.
