Bio

I have been a teacher in the Onslow County School System for ten years.  After serving Onslow County as a substitute teacher and AVID tutor, I began my teaching career after graduating from East Carolina University, GO PIRATES!!.  Northwoods Park Middle school was the first school I was able to call home. After two wonderful years, I made the transition to Trexler Middle School.  After furthering my degree, I finally returned home to Stallion Country.  This will be my seventh year at Southwest High School and I am excited about the opportunity to teach at the school where it all started for me!  I am a proud SWHS alumni and am pleased to return as an educator.  I am looking forward to an exciting year!

I am the mother of two wonderful children are also Stallion ALUMNI and have a wonderful husband.  Our family is very active in the community that we love so much.  

On the weekends, we can usually be found on the water or at the beach!
