Onslow County School System: A Model Global-Ready District

  • Onslow County Schools was named a Global District in 2008 by North Carolina in the World, a project coordinated by the University of North Carolina's Center forInternationalUnderstanding, now known as Go Global NC.  The Onslow County School System is one of 14 anchor districts in the state.

    A Global Lens

The world is interconnected. The best-prepared graduates will be those that have the ability to communicate, collaborate, cooperate, and compete with counterparts, not just from North Carolina or the United States, but from around the world.  Onslow County is connected to the world in many ways, and Onslow County School System has recognized the need to prepare our students with global competencies.
