• Band Boosters Welcome!

    The SWHS Band Boosters is a nonprofit organization that provides support of the band program through fundraisers meant to reduce student expenses, provide expenditures for additional items needed, create an avenue of communication between the school and parents, and to volunteer for band functions. All parents and volunteer alumni are welcome – all skills and time given is greatly appreciated. 

    We need volunteers for many different activities throughout the year. Possible activities include chaperoning, raising funds, holding an office on the booster board, moving equipment and altering uniforms are just a few examples.  The amount of time varies from a few hours, to a few days, or even year round. Volunteers are not limited to parents – friends of the community, teachers, and instructors are all welcome!

    Being a booster member also allows a great advantage in receiving communication from the Band Program. We hold a meeting every month and this helps prepare for events in the future. There is a $10.00 fee in order to be a voting band booster member. 

    A special Thank You goes to all who have helped in the past! Many thanks in advance to all those who will help in the future! We look forward to providing our children with opportunities in music they would not otherwise have.
