Jacksonville City Hall is open to serve our Citizens with normal business hours. Storm damage repair permits and Utilities billing will be among the services offered.

Permits for Repairs or Rebuilds
The City of Jacksonville Planning & Permitting Division will waive the cost for permits to repair or rebuild your home due to Hurricane Florence damage. The cost of permits will be waived through November 1, 2018. Although the fee will be waived, contractors will still need a permit to do repairs or rebuilds. Jacksonville Transit will resume service Wednesday, September 19, 2018 with free service. The routes will be reduced and have fewer buses serving them.| Fares have been waived for the service Wednesday through Friday.
The service will operate 8AM to 8PM. Service will not include the York Street area nor the DSS Drive area. Patrons should consult the Jacksonville Transit TransLoc app or call 938-RIDE for information.
