Interim reports went home with students on Friday. Please review these with your child and if there are any questions or concerns, contact your child’s teachers to schedule a conference.

Parents, we have a busy week for our music department. Our 6^th & 7^th grade chorus will perform tomorrow evening at 6:00 pm in our auxiliary gym. On Tuesday, our 8^th grade band will perform at Dixon High School starting at 6:30 pm. Our piano recital will be held during the day on Wednesday and on Thursday, our orchestra and guitar students will perform at 6:00 pm.

Cheerleading tryouts for rising 7^th & 8^th grade students be held Tuesday-Thursday this week, from 3:15-5:00 pm. Students must have a current physical on file and meet eligibility requirements for grades and attendance.

Students will complete the yearly survey provided by Onslow County Schools electronically on Wednesday, May 24th during our enrichment block.  Parents were shared a link with interim reports to complete the parent survey.  The link is also available on the school’s website.  We appreciate and value your feedback as we continue to seek continuous improvement at Dixon Middle School.

Parents, please ensure you are submitting attendance notes when your child is absent. These notes should include the student’s first and last name, the date of and the reason for the absence. Please refer to our student handbook for guidelines on excused absences.
