    · Avoid wasting time (class, transitions, etc.)

    · Attend tutoring if grade is below 70

    · Keep Agenda/Binder up-to-date and organized

    · Keep Modules organized

    · Belongings are put away for safety

    · Keep with flow of traffic (transitions, fire drills, etc.)

     

    · Be aware of surroundings

    · Be aware of location of supplies and returning to proper place

    · Be aware of personal noise level

    · Listen with purpose

    · Stay focused Be aware of appropriate time to listen, answer, clap, etc.

    · Proper digital etiquette

    · Using manners

    · Taking care of items borrowed/classroom supplies & equipment

    · Personal space

    · Listen actively

    · Appropriate language/content

    Expectations are aligned with the following Guidelines for SUCCESS/Expectations (ROAR, SLANT, GROUPS):

    * Monarchs ROAR stands for: ResponsibleOrganizedAttentiveRespectful.

    *SLANT stands for: Sit with proper posture, Lean forward and listen, Ask questions, Nod yes or no sincerely, and Talk with teachers.

    *GROUPS stands for: Get along, Respect others, On task, Use quiet voices, Participate, and Stay in YOUR group.

    Behavior Interventions

    Each issue that violates the school/classroom rules will be dealt with according to school policy.  Please see the Northside Monarchs R.O.A.R. Academic/Behavior Matrix for complete steps.
