Mrs. Michele Starling

My name is Michele Starling and I am the Title I instructional coach for Bell Fork Elementary. I have been in education since 1993, taking 5 years  to stay at home with my three girls between years 9 and 10. They are now 19, 21 and 23. My oldest, Morgan, is a reporter for Jacksonville Daily News.  My middle girl is a senior and public health major at UNCW.  My youngest is a student at Coastal Carolina Community College and a dance instructor at Riverwalk Youth Ballet. My husband teaches Earth and Environmental Science at Southwest High School. We love to camp in the mountains and spend a lot of time at the beach. I have taught pre-school, kindergarten, second grade, third grade, and fourth grade reading. I also worked as a Title I reading specialist, a curriculum support specialist, and a literacy coach before becoming the Title I instructional coach here at Bell Fork. I truly love being a part of the Bell Fork family!!
