- Or on Epic, using my code (avn1915) (If you are having trouble using this code, please email me at diana.kestner@onslow.k12.nc.us to get added to my roster)
- Here is a wonderful slideshow done by the author to teach us all about The Gambia! https://onslowcountyschools-my.sharepoint.com/:o:/g/personal/diana_kestner_onslow_k12_nc_us/EpouSZo_2VZEgwhvsri792MBu6rb3c7MmKs2ooRlK2jMTQ?e=3fNQ2y
- For this week’s craft, make a bracelet out of plastic bags. Here’s an example I found online:
Impress your family and friends with a stylish new bracelet made entirely out of the grocery bag you just carried your food in. Cut out three strips equal in size and tie them in a knot. From there, braid the strips. Once braided, tie the ends together and cut off the extra plastic. Voila! (credit: https://www.budgetdumpster.com/blog/5-recycled-plastic-bag-projects/)
- If you know how to crochet, watch Isatou’s how-to video to learn how to make your own purse: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1zZw7yrI22M.
As always, if you want to show off your craft, you can email a picture to me at diana.kestner@onslow.k12.nc.us and I'll add it to my Student Work page!
Enjoy your week, get some exercise, and stay safe! I miss you all.
Love, Mrs. Kestner
