Global Fact of the Day:
Today is World Oceans Day! “People around our planet celebrate and honor our ocean, which connects us all. Help meet the goal of protecting at least 30% of our oceans by 2030!”
How can we do that? Beach clean-ups, thinking about/using alternatives to one-use plastics; being responsible when fishing to make sure all nets and gear are accounted for, educating others....

Ocean Friendly RESPONSIBLE POSTER or if visiting the beach, take a picture of you being responsible (social distancing; filling in holes; knocking down your sandcastle before you leave.
Shell collecting/comparing:
Paper Plate Sea Turtle Shells (carapace) – identifying sea turtles by their shell by creating it with a paper plate turned upside down!
