Hello 2nd Graders!

My name is Ms. Billingsley and I will be your teacher this year! I am originally from Macon County, North Carolina which is located on the other side of the state, in the mountains. I graduated college from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in Diversity Studies. GO APP STATE! 

When I'm not teaching awesome 2nd grade students, I enjoy hanging out with my family, spending time outdoors and going on new adventures! 

Fun Facts:

*I spent the summer exploring out west! I camped in Montana for two weeks and spent time in South Dakota, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas and Alabama!

*I worked as a zipline guide for over 4 years when I was in college

*I love skydiving (you will get to see pictures)

*I have 28 chickens (and counting) on my mini farm

*I grew up on a small farm in the mountains and still love gardening, canning and being around farm animals!

*This will be my 3rd year at Morton Elementary teaching 2nd Grade!
