Ahoy Pirates!  

I have been teaching elementary for 9 years and this is my fourth year teaching first grade at Swansboro Elementary.  When I'm not teaching I enjoy gardening, cooking, baking, exercising, reading, playing with our puppies, and doing puzzles.  I have two daughters, one that attends Swansboro Elementary and one at Swansboro Middle School.  My family and I love going to the beach to find shark teeth.  We also enjoy riding on the boat.  I love to travel and explore new places.  My favorite place that I have lived is Hawaii and my favorite place I have visited is Australia.

I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Development from Ball State University in Indiana and went back and earned my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Drury University in Missouri.
