Greetings Parents and Students,

     It is my pleasure to return for another exciting year of learning at Meadow View Elementary. I am looking forward to a wonderful year of learning.  I am hopeful the children are as excited about returning as I am!  Please know I will do everything possible to help make this year successful for them. It will take a little time to get back into the swing of things after our summer break, but I am confident we will make the transition back as smoothly as possible.  

     As a native of Onslow County, I am proud to call the Southwest area home. I am the blessed mother of two wonderful adult children and to be called Mimi by my granddaughter Everleigh. To be honest, she has stolen my heart and has me wrapped around her tiny fingers. Most of my family lives in Onslow County and I am very proud to call Jacksonville our forever home. Also, I have three fur babies.  Molly (a Miniature Poodle) is 100% diva.  Bear (Border Collie) is a big snuggle bug.  KitCat also needed a home, so we took her in. They all love playing, wrestling, and chasing each other. Additionally, we have a horse and a miniature donkey that needed to be rescued from homes that were no longer able to care for them.  As you can see, I love animals and they help make our family complete.  I also enjoy photography, crafting, and most importantly spending time with family.

   I have had the privilege of working in several job capacities over my career.  It is my pleasure to work diligently to make a difference each day.  As with any grade, we have many skills to master before the end of the year. Together, we will work to make this happen. Open communication is essential to a successful and memorable year.  I look forward to making the best of the time we have together and anticipate a great partnership.  If you have any concerns or questions, please contact me immediately.  Information regarding daily expectations, policies and procedures, and grading practices will be explained fully. I look forward to getting to know each of my new families and will be in touch!
