My name is Marisa Taddei and this is my second year teaching in Onslow County School District. I graduated in 2018 from The Pennsylvania State University with my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a certification to teach English as a Second Language (ESL). I was awarded the Penn State AAC Collaboration Project grant through the U.S. Department of Education in 2018 and graduated in 2020 with my master's degree in Special Education with an emphasis on Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
A little bit about me- I am from Bucks County, Pennsylvania. I have two kitties named Ducky and Goose. I love to travel and see new places. Over the summer of 2018, I lived and taught English in Cuenca, Ecuador. I've spent a weekend on an alpaca farm, hiked through Incan ruins, and planted 420 trees with my team in the Cloud Forest. It is the most beautiful country and I am so grateful for the experiences I've had and people I've met.
I can't wait to start this school year at our beautiful new school!
