Hey there! Welcome parents and students to our AWESOME 5th grade Math and Science class!

I am so excited about being your teacher this year, and look forward to a whole lot of fun and adventure in the classroom. This year, we are doing a galaxy theme, so any galaxy/space themed items will be appreciated and utilized!

A little about me. My name is Lidiya (pronounced Lydia) and I have a Masters in Special and General Education. I am originally from Brooklyn, NY, so I have a funny Northern accent (especially when I say I want some CAWfee) I have been married for 12 years and have 3 lovely kiddos. I come from a family of immigrants and am fluent in English, Russian and Ukrainian and even a little Spanish! I attended high school at Fiorella H. LaGuardia school of the arts and performing arts in NYC and love bringing the creative arts into the classroom! Growing up in a culturally diverse environment has given me the tools to create a truly unique classroom! Get ready for a fun, interesting, and engaging year!
