Welcome to my page! I hope you learn a little bit more about me.

I was born and raised in beautiful upstate New York. I love hiking and being outside. My favorite things are laughing and being around my family and friends. I always try to make the best of any situation. I like to challenge myself as well as try new things! I have completed 2 full marathons, 3 half marathons and countless 10k and 5k races. These days my running shoes have been collecting dust as I am exploring, kayaking and searching for shark teeth! 

I met my husband in North Carolina and we've had 14 wonderful years of adventures. I am a military spouse and understand the strains that come along with the military lifestyle, such as switching schools and surprise moves. My husband is from upstate South Carolina. Therefore,our household is immersed in college football and we cheer for Clemson University! We love going  to Clemson any chance we get to watch a game! We have two amazing, resilient, and wonderful children. We're currently navigating the life of a middle schooler and an elementary student. I'm a food allergy parent and take allergies seriously.

I love teaching Third Grade at Sand Ridge Elementary, Go Sharks! Being a part of the Sand Ridge family has been a phenomenal experience. I love the environment within the school and the community. The best part of my day is getting to be with all of the young scholars that walk through the doors. It is my goal to make lessons as interactive as possible and encourage movement. I start each morning meeting with a social emotional lesson and this sets the tone for a day of success. I believe teaching the whole child is crucial, so I work hard on building and fostering relationships with my students. 

I'm looking forward to all of the adventures that will unfold in Ramseyland during the 2023-2024 school year.
