I attended N.C. State University where I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and my Bachelor of Arts of in English. I also attended graduate school at N.C. State University where I obtained my Master of Arts in Teaching Secondary English. I have been teaching for a total of 8 years. I have taught 7th grade ELA in Sampson County and 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grade ELA at Onslow County Learning Center. I have also taught English and Interpersonal Communications at the college level for the past six years. I am so excited to be back in the classroom with middle grades and am looking forward to a successful year! In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and two children, drawing, reading, baking, and completing puzzles.
