• Student/Parent Communication Methods 

    Email is the most effective method of communication; emails will be returned ASAP on weekdays. Emails may or may not be returned during weekends.

    Communication

    • Director will send communication home via memos/letters, Remind and Teacher page (on the Hunters Creek Middle School page).
    • Students are expected to pass along the information to parents and also communicate with the director about missing assignments, alternate assignments, instrument issues or other potential issues.
    • Parents may utilize Remind and teacher email as the best source of communication. The band hall has an office phone but the voice mail system does not work. Phone messages should be relayed through the HCMS front office. Please be patient with responses as my office/planning time is limited to less than an hour a day at the beginning of the school day.

    Remind Policy: Text messages will be sent out as needed concerning important events/dates/etc.  While every effort will be made to return any replies, be reminded that the best form of communication is email. All communication made through Remind will be submitted to school administration as requested.
