On February 10, 2022, the state updated the StrongSchoolsNC: Public Health Toolkit (K-12) to say that “individual contact tracing and exclusion from school after an identified exposure (regardless of location of exposure) is no longer recommended statewide in K-12 schools.” 

OCS will be adhering to the guidance in the Toolkit and will no longer exclude individuals who would have been identified as a close contact. With this change, the district will be pausing updates to the COVID-19 dashboard. We will continue to provide information to the local health department as required by state law.
