Hello Pirates! I am excited about starting this new chapter at Swansboro High School as an Assistant Principal. 
For the last 16 years, I was just across the street at Swansboro Middle School where I taught 6^th grade English Language Arts, coached cheerleading, and girls’ track, and was an active teacher leader. I am originally from Northeastern Pennsylvania (NEPA) and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Wilkes University in 2006.  I earned my Masters in 2015 from East Carolina University in School Administration and Curriculum Instruction.
 I have been married to my wonderful husband, Mark for 12 years. He is also a part of the Swansboro community, teaching 6^th grade science at Swansboro Middle School and coaching. We have a daughter, Kennedy, who will be going into 3^rd grade at Swansboro Elementary.  Outside of school, you would find me spending time with family and friends, shopping, and going on weekend trips being a Dance Mom. 
 
I truly have enjoyed each year while being a part of the Swansboro Community. I look forward to developing and nurturing positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and community stakeholders. Go Pirates!
