Student Opportunities

AgDiscovery, a FREE summer youth program for middle and high school students is accepting applications through March 31, 2023. AgDiscovery students live on a college campus for 2-4 weeks and learn from university professors and USDA experts. This year, 22 colleges and universities are participating in the program. Teen Science Cafés are for teens and led by teens. They bring students together in an informal setting to learn about science and technology.

Cafés happen from 5:30pm - 7:30pm one Friday a month. Each café will include a scientist presentation, an interactive activity relating to the discussion, a Q&A session, and time to meet other teens that enjoy science. This program is recommended for participants ages 11–17. This is a FREE event and pizza will be provided!
