Hello Summersill Family!

Education: I have a B.S. in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education from University of Maryland, College Park. In December 2022, I will hold my M.Ed. in Reading Education K-12. I am currently a licensed reading specialist and trained in the Orton-Gillingham methodology. 

Experience: I taught kindergarten and first grade for five years total between Maryland and North Carolina. I am excited to serve our Summersill Eagles this year as a reading specialist!

Bio: I grew up in Maryland and moved to North Carolina in 2021; I am happy to be near the beach! I enjoy walking on the beach with my puppy, Lilo, and cuddling with my cat, Elsa, in my free time. I love iced coffee, tacos, acai bowls, and exercising. 

I am looking forward to a great school year!
