About Me:
I was born in Pensacola, Florida. However I have lived most of my life in Jacksonville. My father was a pilot in the Marine Corps, so we bounced around quite a bit. Altogether, I attended a total of eight different schools! I am married to my high school sweetheart, Clark, who graduated from Southwest High School. I graduated from Jacksonville High School.
I have two children; Ashleigh, age 27 and Courtney, age 24. They are both graduates of Richlands High School. Ashleigh is mom to Mason (eight) and Jaxon (three). Courtney has a seven month old daughter Olivia. Through the years, we have spent much time on soccer and softball fields. I really miss that family time as my girls have become older. However, I am looking forward to watching Mason, Jaxon and Olivia on the ball field.
Other than the ball field, I would rather be on the beach with a good book. I love books and music from many genres and would love to pass that along to my students. My hobbies include running and outdoor adventures. I have run several marathons, half-marathons, and Ultra races. I enjoy hiking, rafting, tubing, water sports, and zip-lining.
We have been members of Harris Creek Missionary Baptist Church for twenty-two years. We enjoy participation in many church activities and events
