Bio

My name in Kelly Hardison. I grew up in Jacksonville, North Carolina. I am married and have two amazing boys that I adore. I enjoy spending time with my family, going out to eat, and playing at the beach with my boys. Becoming a teacher was my childhood dream and I truly enjoy my career. I take great pride in teaching my students and watching them learn each day.

    I am a graduate of Jacksonville High School class of 95'. I went to the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where I received my degree in Elementary Education.

  • Experience

    I have been a teacher for twenty-two years. I began my teaching career in the first grade at Wrightsboro Elementary in Castle Hayne, NC where I taught four years. I then moved to Swansboro and began teaching in my home town of Jacksonville at Jacksonville Commons Elementary. I taught the second grade at JCE for eight years. I wanted to teach closer to home so I transferred to Queens Creek Elementary where I taught the second and third grades for 10 years. I am excited about my new position at Sand Ridge Elementary as a reading specialist.  I take great pride in guiding my students, helping them learn, and encouraging their academic progress.
