Hello!  I'm super excited to be joining Silverdale Elementary! This is my 25th year of teaching. My specialty is reading, but I love teaching all subjects. My teaching career began in Ohio, and in 2007 my family made the big move to Greensboro, where we lived for 10 years. In 2017, we made the move to Swansboro and have loved living in this coastal community. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy time with family and friends at the beach or a nearby sandbar and working with my dogs. I am a wife and mother of 2 adult boys. We have 4 dogs (Scarlet, Willow, Stella & Haven) I'm excited about creating our classroom community this year!
