Hello! I grew up in Jacksonville, NC before leaving for college in Chapel Hill in 2006. My dad was a Marine and my husband currently serves in the Virginia National Guard, so I have experienced the challenges of deployments and the military lifestyle practically my whole life! I have one sister who is five years older than me and two loving and supportive parents who taught me the values of being thankful for what I have and most importantly, how to be a good person. I loved being in Chapel Hill and consider those four years of my life to be an important part of who I am. I go back for football and basketball games when I can! We have two daughters, Madeline and Alaina, as well as two dogs, Jules and Rammstein, and two cats, Ms. Maxine and Casper.
