Career & Technical Education Services
Welcome
Our Mission
The Onslow County Schools community will prepare students to be globally competitive leaders and responsible citizens.
Career & Technical Education is where skills meet success. We provide course offerings that meet student needs, interests, abilities, and aspirations. The availability of specific courses is determined by opportunities for employment, advanced education and practical life application.
Middle school students have the opportunity to participate in exploratory courses in business and information technologies, technology systems, and career decisions.
In the OCS traditional high schools, courses are offered in 6 different program areas. You can find more information on those programs here.
Each high school has a Career Development Coordinator (CDC) to support the school-to-career connection and facilitate business/industry partnerships.
In compliance with federal laws, Onslow County Schools and Career & Technical Education administers all locally operated educational programs, employment activities and admissions without discrimination because of race, religion, national or ethnic origin, color, age, marital status, pregnancy, military service, disability, or gender and provides equal access to the Boy Scouts and other designated youth groups except where exemption is appropriate and allowed by law.
