Coaches
A team of experienced educators forms the Onslow County School System Coach Cadre for the 2023-2024 school year.
These coaches provide leadership and support to K-12 schools through planning, instruction, assessment, and culture through a standards-based lens using a gradual release instructional model and high yield strategies to assist grade level teams, departments, and individual teachers. Additionally, coaches assist with the implementation of standards-based planning via activation of learning, modeling, guided practice, independent practice, and culture to create classroom environments for student learning that foster development with high academic expectations.
