Teacher Leadership Development in Action

The Onslow County Schools Teacher Leadership Development Program prepares educators to serve as collaborative leaders within their schools and across the district. Through professional development, action research, and targeted leadership training, participants build skills in coaching, critical conversations, and instructional leadership to support colleagues and improve student outcomes.

The application process opens in October, with principals recommending teachers for consideration. Selected through a rigorous application process, participants will benefit from a significant district investment, including protected professional development time, materials, and resources throughout the spring semester.
