DWAYNE SNOWDEN Director of Federal Programs
Dwyane Snowden has been with the Onslow County School System since 1988. He has served as a middle school teacher, basketball coach, assistant principal and principal. He transitioned to district level leadership in 2008 when he became Director of Elementary Services and K-12 AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination). Mr. Snowden moved into his role, Director of Federal Programs, in August of 2017. He is proud to have been educated in the Onslow County School System having graduated from Jacksonville High School in the Class of 1979. Mr. Snowden furthered his education at St. Andrews Presbyterian College (BA-English-Journalism/Minor World War II History) and East Carolina University (MA-Middle Grades Education and Masters in School Administration.
