Online Meal Benefit Application and Meal Payment Services Issue
Good evening, OCS Families, this is Brent Anderson. As final preparations for the first day of school continue, we wanted to make everyone aware of a potential issue impacting online meal benefit applications and meal payment services.
Due to a technical problem between OCS and the Meals Plus service provider, it is possible meal payments made online may not show up on student accounts at the point-of-sale on the first day of school.
We are working closely with the service provider to resolve the issue; however, if it is not corrected before tomorrow, students will still be able to make purchases and apply payments with the cashier. When OCS can access the payment information, any charges to the accounts will be covered back to the first day of school.
