Saturday, February 1 was a science-packed day for elementary students from across the county, as they competed in the 2025 Elementary Science Olympiad competition.

Twelve teams from Onslow County elementary schools participated, competing in 13 STEM challenges that tested their skills in engineering, geology, biology, ecology, and more.
