ASBESTOS AWARENESS FOR CONTRACTORS

To fulfill the EPA Document 40 CFR Part 763.84 (d) of the Federal Register which states

 “Ensure that short-term workers  (telephone repair workers, utilities workers, exterminators, etc.) who may come in contact with asbestos in a school & are provided information regarding the locations of ACBM & suspected ACBM assumed to be ACM.”

Onslow County Schools is providing you with locations of Asbestos Containing Building Materials (ACBM) at the specified sites. You, as a contractor for Onslow County Schools, are to ensure that you and/or your employees do not disturb any of these asbestos-containing materials.
