Department Overview
Safety and Security
The Safety Department's primary purpose is to ensure the workplace safety of the Onslow County School employees. The Security and Safety department tracks workplace injuries and identifies areas of safety concern.
The department has headed the creation of our Return to Work program, which seeks to restore injured employees to their former duties as quickly as possible.
The department was expanded into the security department which includes work on the physical security of our campuses, along with the development of additional school-specific programs to enhance student and staff safety.
The Safety Department also conducts announced and unannounced safety inspections of our campus sites.
