PRINT SERVICES

Onslow County Schools Printing Services was established in 1984 and is the largest civilian printing facility in Onslow County in terms of production output. Impressively, with a staff of just three full-time employees, print services continue to provide cost-effective printing support to not just the Onslow County School District but also Onslow County Governmental Offices. Our print services team utilize only the most up-to-date machines and the most comprehensive copier technology with a fully integrated and networked color/high speed black and white system. This system offers remote job submission capability from all 42 schools and central office sites.

In fiscal year 2022-2023, our team produced 18,200,000 units. (One unit equals one 8-1/2” X 11” sheet of paper printed on one side) We processed over 2,600 individual job requests and, on average, approximately 1,500,000 units per month on a year-round basis. This total is approximately 98% copier work and 2% offset press work. During the same fiscal year, our team produced over 34,500 OCS Student Code of Conduct booklets; over 29,700 Federal (impact aid) cards; printed over 140,000 envelopes; approximately 215,500 booklets to include but not limited to agendas, student handbooks, assessments, sports and concert programs, theatrical/musical programs, and produced over 20,400 hot bound books. 

Not limited to just documents, our team also produce various forms of signage. We manage various forms of bindery operations, which include folding, hot glue book making, GBC binding (comb), stuffing and sealing envelopes, collating and making pads, along with many other custom products. In short, OCS Print Services operate a fast-paced but detail-oriented shop with proven dedication to providing quality printing services for our school district.
