• Fourth Grade is a transitional year for our students. This is a new school where they are expected to take on more responsibility both academically and personally. 4th graders at CEEMS take part in the AVID program. AVID- advancement via individual determination- includes a focus on study skills, note taking as well as organization. Students will be required to keep  organized notebooks, desk and book bag throughout the school year. Please check and sign your child’s agenda daily as part of this process.

About Me:

I was born and raised in Costa Rica, Central America, a beautiful country full of nature and biodiversity. Costa Rica is a neutral country with no army.

This is my third year at Clyde Erwin in fourth grade. Last year I also taught Language arts  in fifth grade . I love this school and cannot wait to start another year.

Parent communication is one of the most important aspects of teaching. Parents and teachers are students greatest fans and always want to help them succeed. Please contact me with concerns or anything you feel would be helpful for me to know.
