Mrs. Michelle Brinkman

Welcome to Coastal Elementary! I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! 

I graduated from UNCW in 2014 with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I spent over 3 years as a teacher assistant in kindergarten and first grade before I started teaching in 2016. I have taught 2nd grade, K-2 reading and special education before jumping into my favorite grade of all - first grade!

My husband and I were both born and raised in Ohio. My husband's time in the military is what first brought us to North Carolina. After living in and near Ohio for several years afterwards, we finally made our way back to the North Carolina coast at the beginning of 2020 (and are here to stay)! We have three wonderful boys who keep us on our toes! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the beach, and enjoying the outdoors.
