Mrs. Amy Evans

Greetings!  I am Mrs. Amy Evans, one of your assistant principals.  I’m very excited to be a JCMS Knight!  Before I became an AP, I taught middle school math.  This is my 23^rd year in education, with 20 years in the classroom and 2 years as an instructional coach.  My undergraduate degree was earned at UNC Pembroke, and I earned my master’s degree at East Carolina University.

When I’m not at school, I enjoy being with my family.  My husband, David, is a CSI for the Onslow County Sheriff’s department.  We have a wonderful, imaginative 9-year-old son, Peyton.  He truly is the love of our lives.  As a family, we love going away for the weekend in our camper.  My parents live here in Jacksonville, and my 5 siblings are spread out from Pennsylvania down to Florida.
