Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Darla Daniels

My name is Darla Daniels, and I am proud to be a Dixon Bulldog!!  I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Culver-Stockton College, and my Master’s in Educational Administration from William Woods University.  I am certified to teach Elementary Education as well as K-12 Exceptional Child. This will be my fifteenth year of teaching.

I have a true passion for working with all students!! I strive to create positive relationships with students that will encourage them to become the best version of themselves both academically and socially.

Personally, I have 2 children ages 29 and 24. My daughter is the art teacher at Dixon Elementary School. My son is a current graduate student at University of Kansas Medical Center and is pursuing a doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy. I am also a proud dog mom and dog grandma to three very spoiled Labrador Retrievers. Their names are Katie, Duck, and Oakley. They love walking on the beach and playing fetch!

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, home DIY projects, and traveling.

Thank you for taking the time getting to know me and reading my biography. I look forward to working together with you and your child to make their elementary school experience a successful one!
