Mrs. Julie Tootle

My name is Julie Tootle and I grew up in Springboro, OH. I graduated from Miami University of OH, with a BS in Elementary Education and a BS in Sports Medicine. This is my 17th year working for Onslow County Schools. I have also taught “American“ to Japanese students and adults, preschool, high school science and jr.high science.  I am honored to be chosen to continue these students 2nd grade career. I am very excited to get to know the children, parents and staff of this small rural elementary and be a part of their educational success here at Silverdale!

    I am a mom to 4 terribly wonderful, mostly grown-up boys! I have been married for 29 years, have 2 grandkids and an aussie-doodle named Brew. We are in the process of remodeling our “new” house in Stella.  I am a huge soccer fan, whether it be students at the rec level, high school at Swansboro, Division I watching my son at UNCW or pros, sitting on the comfy couch in my family room. Besides futbol I am an all-around sports enthusiast. I also spend my spare time as a cake decorator, crouchet lady, sun-lovin' beach goer, sewer, faux gourmet chef, and an awesome Nannie Toot!
