Hello! My name is Mrs. Humphrey, and I am thrilled to be your child’s 5th grade science and social studies teacher this year! This will be my 11th year teaching and my 7th year here at Silverdale. I received my Bachelors of Elementary Education and Biology from East Carolina University prior to entering the education field. In December 2021 I completed my Masters in Elementary Mathematics Education. I am currently studying to earn my Masters In Science Education. I believe that that education never stops and there is always more to learn and will continue being a student myself.

I have six wonderful children that keep me busy when I am not teaching. Spending time as a family is extremely important to us. Together we enjoy board games, puzzles, cooking and baking, and spending time outside. When I have free time, I love to garden, craft, and explore new places.

I am excited to work with you and your child this year and for the adventures that await us!
