Mrs. Criner

Hello Silverdale leaders, families, and friends. My name is Krystal Criner and I love being part of the Silverdale team.  After growing up in Swansboro and attending Onslow County Schools as a student, I received my bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University. I taught in Kindergarten through 4^th grade classrooms for ten years and am so excited to continue learning and growing as our schools Instructional Coach!

When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy outdoor activities like walking on the beach, disc golf, hiking, and, of course, anything on/in the water! I am happily married to my amazing husband, Drew, and we love living in Swansboro with our dog, Lady and two cats, Pocahontas and Julia. We are excited about welcoming our first baby, coming in August 2023!
